iLogic & AI Automation Consulting
InvenioBT turns hours of repetitive Inventor work into seconds — with custom iLogic automation and AI-enhanced workflows built for manufacturers who are serious about efficiency.
What I do
Every service is designed around one outcome: your engineering team spends less time on repetitive work and more time on work that matters.
Custom rules, product configurators, parametric assemblies, and automated drawing generation — built using AI-assisted development for faster delivery and fewer errors.
A focused remote assessment of your Inventor environment via Zoom and screen share. You receive a written report of what to automate, what it costs, and what it saves — no obligation to continue.
Automate title blocks, view configurations, drawing notes, and structured BOM generation directly from your Inventor assemblies — eliminating manual rework and transcription errors.
Turn complex product families into a single intelligent model. Engineering enters the parameters via an iLogic form — and the geometry, drawings, and BOM generate automatically.
Your embedded Inventor automation expert — available monthly for enhancements, maintenance, new iLogic rules, and continuous improvement of your engineering workflows.
Combining deep iLogic expertise with modern AI tooling to build, test, and optimize automation rules faster — delivering more reliable results in less time.
How it works
A clear, fully remote process — conducted via Zoom and screen share. No travel required, no disruption to your team's day.
Free 30-minute Zoom call. I ask about your workflow, you tell me where the pain is. No pitch — just listening.
Free · ZoomI review your Inventor environment via screen share, interview your team, and deliver a written findings report.
$1,500 · RemoteBased on the audit, I deliver a fixed-fee implementation proposal. You know the exact price before anything starts.
Fixed feeI build the automation remotely, walk your team through it on Zoom, and offer ongoing retainer support.

Invenio — Latin for "I find" · BT — Build & Transform
InvenioBT was founded on a simple observation: most manufacturers using Autodesk Inventor are leaving enormous amounts of engineering time on the table — not because they lack talent, but because nobody has automated the work that should never require talent in the first place.
With deep experience in mechanical design and a specialization in iLogic automation, I bring a rare combination of engineering judgment and technical expertise. I've seen what happens when a product configurator that used to take four hours is rebuilt to run in four seconds.
All work is conducted remotely via Zoom and screen share — meaning I can work with manufacturers anywhere in the country without disrupting your team's environment or schedule.
Past work
These are real automation projects built for electrical manufacturers. Every project below was custom — designed around a specific product, specific environment, and specific workflow. Yours will be too.
Enclosure height, width, and depth update parametrically. Door size and swing direction adjust automatically. Cutouts for lights, monitors, and ventilation change based on voltage selection. Hardware swaps to the correct parts based on chosen options.
Busbar end preparation changes across 12 options — hole patterns convert to slots, drill quantities and spacing update, and pattern layouts reconfigure based on the selected connection type. All from a single iLogic selection.
iLogic-driven label automation — parameters control text size, scale, and width automatically. iProperties populate from selections, material styles link to sheet metal styles, and batch drawings and models generate from a single pull-down menu.
Parametric nameplate automation — label dimensions, text content, and iProperties all controlled through a single iLogic form. Output scales automatically based on selected parameters. Demonstrates how repetitive label creation is reduced to a few clicks.
A custom iLogic interface that centralizes drawing tasks engineers and designers perform repeatedly. Manages sheet format, units, and page additions. Populates and copies title block fields — drawing number, titles, revision, engineer, drawn by, scale, weight, and date — directly from the model. Handles revision history with status stamps and description tracking. Tools tab automates notes insertion, view labeling, dimension cleanup, part list style changes, and subassembly renumbering. Title block replacement across A and D size sheets runs in one click. Eliminates manual entry and reduces drawing setup from minutes to seconds.
An iLogic-driven workflow that extracts bill of materials data directly from an Autodesk Inventor assembly and exports it into a formatted spreadsheet. Output includes item numbers, thumbnails, BOM structure, part numbers, stock numbers, descriptions, and custom fields configured to match the company standard. Eliminates manual BOM entry, reduces transcription errors, and ensures the exported data stays in sync with the model. Field names and column structure are fully configurable per client environment.
Additional projects available on request — transformer assemblies, choke configurators, label automation, and more. All work shown is original. No client names or proprietary data disclosed.
Every automation project is custom.
There are no off-the-shelf templates here. I work directly inside your Autodesk Inventor environment — your product family, your sheet metal styles, your iProperties, your standards. The result is automation built specifically for how your team works.

Practical iLogic rules built from real engineering workflows. Download, adapt, and deploy in your Autodesk Inventor environment — no strings attached.
These are general-purpose automation rules applicable to any Inventor environment. They are starting points — you will likely need to adapt field names, parameters, and standards to match your company's setup. Basic iLogic familiarity is helpful but not required. Each download includes a PDF guide explaining how the rule works and what to customize.
Additional general-purpose iLogic rules added regularly — batch drawing creation, iProperties management, and more.
These free rules are starting points. If you need automation built specifically for your product line, your sheet metal styles, your iProperty schema, and your company standards — that's what the consulting is for →
